Terms of Service

Last Updated: September 15, 2025

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the DentalGuard mobile application and website (the "Service") operated by DentalGuard ("us," "we," or "our").

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Scope of Service

DentalGuard is a teledentistry platform that facilitates secure video consultations between patients and licensed dental professionals. Our Service is intended for urgent dental consultations and to supplement, not replace, traditional in-person dental care. The advice provided is based on the information you provide and is not a substitute for a full clinical examination.

3. Not for Medical Emergencies

If you are experiencing a life-threatening medical or dental emergency, such as uncontrolled bleeding, difficulty breathing, or trauma to the head, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree to notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

5. Payments

Certain features of the Service, such as emergency consultations, require payment. You agree to pay all applicable fees as described in the app at the time of the service. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall DentalGuard, nor its directors, employees, or partners, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page.
